Parking in Reading
Southern Court is located in South Street, Reading and is easily accessible from major routes into the town from all directions.
Parking near Royal Berks Hospital
- On foot from car park to Royal Berkshire Hospital: Turn right out of car park, right again into Sidmouth Street, on reaching the main London Road turn left and cross over, cross Redlands Road and the hospital is on your right (main entrance) or continue past the hospital building and take next right into Craven Road and you will find the South Block entrance, Maternity and A&E. (approx.. 5-10 minutes walk)
Parking near Reading University London Road Campus
- On foot from car park to Reading University London Road Campus: Turn right out of car park, right again into Sidmouth Street, on reaching the main London Road turn left and cross over and the London Road campus is on your right. (approx.. 5 minutes walk)
Parking near Reading Train Station
- On foot from car park to Reading train station: Turn left out of car park and proceed to end of road, turn right heading towards town centre, cross main road and proceed in straight direction over bridge, at next junction cross straight over into Market Place, and bear round to the left at the end where you will see Queen Victoria’s statue. Take the road opposite statue (Old Reading Town Hall and museum will be on your right), proceed to end of road and train station is straight ahead (approx. 10-15 minutes walk)
Parking near The Oracle
- On foot from car park to The Oracle: Turn left out of car park and proceed to end of road, turn right heading towards town centre, cross main road at the major junction and then turn to your left and cross again and the Oracle riverside area is straight in front of you (bars and restaurants), walk through the riverside area to main entrance to enter the shopping centre. (approx. 7 minutes walk)
Parking near Reading town centre offices and shops
- On foot from car park to Town Centre: Turn left out of car park and proceed to end of road, turn right and at major junction carry straight on. Cross over and turn left into King Street which follows on into Broad Street. The Oracle front entrance will be on your left and main town centre shops ahead. (approx. 10 minutes walk)
